How Edith Found Jesus

Even when she didn't realize it, Edith Stein was looking for Jesus all her life. God sent many clues, like her brilliant mind which always looked for answers, holy and wise people, and unusual events, to help her find him. After finding Jesus, Edith took the name Sister Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. She is a shining example for children of what it means to seek God and to give your life to him. She used her God-given intellect, curiosity, and love of learning to develop a life-changing relationship with Jesus. She shared her gifts with others, helping them to find Jesus, too.
